Welcome to the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Craft Room!

General Information

The Craft Center is located in Room 206 on the second floor of the Student Union, on the south side of the building. Admission is free for currently enrolled ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ students with a valid ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ ID.

The Craft Center provides students with a welcoming environment to create, learn new skills, collaborate with others, and explore their creativity through a variety of hands-on projects and activities.

Anyone entering the Craft Center will be required to provide their valid ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Student ID.

The Craft Center features:

  • • Sewing machines
  • • Specialty crafting equipment
  • • Collaborative work areas for individual and group projects
  • • Workshops, programs, and creative events throughout the year
  • Whether you’re creating a personal project, learning a new skill, or spending time with friends, the Craft Center offers a space where creativity and community come together.

Craft Center Rules of Conduct

  1. Follow all University policies and Student Union regulations.
  2. Be respectful of all Craft Center staff, users, equipment, and creative projects.
  3. Follow all check-in, reservation, and occupancy procedures.
  4. Use materials responsibly and only take what is necessary for your project.
  5. Maintain your workspace by cleaning up, returning materials, and properly disposing of waste before leaving.
  6. Paints, adhesives, markers, and other materials must remain within designated crafting areas.
  7. Follow all posted instructions and staff guidance when using equipment.
  8. Users must complete staff-led training and receive approval before operating Cricut machines, sewing machines, or other designated specialty equipment.
  9. Do not touch, move, alter, or remove another individual’s project or personal property without permission.
  10. Keep walkways, exits, and accessibility routes clear at all times.
  11. Food and beverages should be kept away from materials and equipment. Beverages must be in a closed, spill-resistant container.
  12. Leave the Craft Center in equal or better condition than you found it.

Failure to comply with Craft Center policies, Student Union regulations, or University policies may result in suspension or revocation of Craft Center privileges.

Q: Who can use the Craft Center?

A: The Craft Center is available to currently enrolled ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ students with a valid Blue ID. Students must present their ID upon entry and may be required to complete check-in procedures before using the facility.

Q: Is there a cost to use the Craft Center?

A: Basic access to the Craft Center is free for ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ students..

Q: Can I use the Cricut or sewing machines?

A: Yes. Students may use specialty equipment after completing the required staff-led training and receiving approval to operate the equipment independently.

Q: Can I leave my project in the Craft Center?

A: Users should not assume storage space is available. Personal projects and belongings should be removed at the end of each visit unless specific arrangements have been approved by Craft Center staff.

Q: Can student organizations reserve the Craft Center?

A: Depending on availability and programming schedules, student organizations and university departments may be able to request use of the Craft Center for workshops or special events.
